BUDAPEST: The animated film Four Souls of Coyote by Áron Gauder has been selected as Hungary‘s candidate for the 96th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category.

PODGORICA: Senad Šahmanović’s debut feature Sirin has been selected as Montenegro‘s candidate for the 96th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category. The film is a coproduction between Montenegro, Croatia, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and France.

VALLETTA: The seven episodes of the third season of the British TV production Madame Blanc are shooting in Malta with a budget of 5 m EUR.

‘Madame Blanc’ is a British TV production that chose the Maltese Islands for its filming of Season 3, comprising of 7 episodes. This production is filming its whole season in Malta with a budget of €5 million. Amongst the 107 crew members working on this film project, 80% of which are Maltese and Gozitans.

BATUMI: Ten films have been selected for the Feature Film Competition of the18th Batumi International Art-house Film Festival, which will be held in Batumi 17 - 24 September 2023.

BUCHAREST: The 19th edition of the Bucharest International Film Festival will screen from 15 to 22 September 2023 seven debut films in the Official Competition, including the Romanian majority coproduction Day of the Tiger / Tigru directed by Andrei Tanase.
