BRATISLAVA: Young Slovak director Erik Bosnak is finishing post-production on his debut feature, Immortalitas, the first Slovak 3D sci-fi film. It will be ready for release by September 2011.
PRODUCTION: Zincograph Shooting in Sofia
SOFIA: Vladislav Todorov's film adaptation of Zincograph based on his novel started its long awaited shoot on 9 August 2011 and will end on 11 September. Production will take place in Nu Boyana's film studios as well as on location.
PRODUCTION: Warsaw Hangover Shooting in Warsaw
WARSAW: Łukasz Karwowski is shooting Kac WAWA (a play on words meaning Warsaw Hangover), a Polish comedy about a bachelor party gone wild. The shoot started on 9 April 2011 in Warsaw and will last till the second half of September.

WARSAW: Komeda Nad Poznaniem (Komeda Over Poznań), an original documentary devoted to the Polish music composer Krzysztof Komeda Trzciński, is being shot in Warsaw. The premiere is planned for December 2011.

KRAKOW: Polish private broadcaster TVN has started production on Julia, a new daytime dramatic series about a runaway bride starting her life over. The series will premiere in January 2012.

WARSAW: Jan Kidawa-Błoński, the director of Little Rose, is shooting a post-war drama entitled You Will Never Know. Filming started on 4 August 2011 and will end on 12 September.

BUCHAREST: Austrian director Wolfram Paulus's feature film Our Big Time started shooting in Sibiu in July, and will continue in Buftea, Bucharest and Căciulaţi until August 19.
