ZAGREB: Following the international success of their first feature The Safe Place directed by Juraj Lerotić and coproduced by Croatia’s Zelena zraka in collaboration with Slovenia’s December, the Croatian production company Pipser is developing Milk Cow / Muzara, the first feature film by the reputable documentary filmmaker Miroslav Sikavica, which is set to start shooting in November 2023.

SKOPJE: The historical drama My Mother Is a Cosmonaut / Misioni directed by Andy Deliana, produced by Albanian Red Helicopter Films in coproduction with Macedonian Dream Factory, has entered the next stage of production. The first shots of the film starring William Baldwin and Natalia Sanchez were done in Albania in November 2022.

RIGA: Ilze Kunga-Melgaile's historical drama Life Interrupted / Dzīve pārtraukta is currently in postproduction, after successfully wrapping the shooting in the autumn of 2022. The main character is based on the journalist and politician Ita Kozakeviča, a bright figure in the pro-independence movement in the final Soviet years, who passed away suddenly at the age of 35 years in 1990.
