WARSAW: Kids Kino Industry, the pitching and coproduction forum for feature films and series (live-action, animation and documentaries) for young audiences, has announced its winners. The forum started on 28 September and will wrap on 1 October 2021.
PLZEN: Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn by Romanian director Radu Jude has been awarded the Golden Kingfisher Award in the Feature and Animated Films Competition of the 34th edition of Finale Plzen (24-29 September 2021).

BERLIN: The Story of My Wife by Ildikó Enyedi is among the four titles added to the list of films eligible for European Film Awards nominations, while Polanski, Horowitz. Hometown by Mateusz Kudła and Anna Kokoszka-Romer, has been added, together with three other titles, to the list of eligible documentaries.

The seventh edition of the Czech-In Festival, a festival of Czech and Slovak films in Paris, will take place on October 22, 23 and 24, 2021, on the occasion of the upcoming national holiday of Czechoslovakia (October 28).
Once again the screenings will be organized in various screening rooms of the capital so they will be accessible to a wide audience. Screenings will take place in the Auditorium of the City Hall of Paris, as well as in the 3 Luxembourg and Reflet Médicis cinemas. In November, two satellite screenings will take place at Parisian universities: the Sorbonne and the State Institute of Oriental Languages.

Romania 30-09-2021BUCHAREST: The Romanian director Ion Ioachim Stroe is currently in postproduction with his debut feature There Is No One Here / Aici nu e nimeni, which is the first independent debut feature from the Bucharest-based production outfit Wearebasca.
