For the occasion, cinema equipment was installed in front of the tree, for a few invited guests and about a hundred residents of the village. Before the screening, Mayor Attila Nagy announced that the tree would henceforth be called Silent Friend, and that a copper plaque would soon be unveiled in memory of the filming and the film's worldwide success.
