BUCHAREST: Men of Deeds / Oameni de treabă, the fourth feature film by the Romanian director Paul Negoescu has been acquired by the German sales agent Patra Spanou. This Romanian/Bulgarian coproduction is the first film by Negoescu based on somebody else’s script.

Romania 29-06-2022BUCHAREST: Ana-Maria Comănescu’s debut feature Horia starts shooting in Romania on 29 June 2022. The film is a Romanian/Bulgarian/Serbian coproduction produced by Carla Fotea and Ada Solomon through microFILM in coproduction with Rossitsa Valkanova through Klas Film and Nikolina Vučetić-Zečević through Biberche Productions.
STRASBOURG: Ten majority and minority coproductions from FNE partner countries, including new projects by Radu Jude, Ivan Ostrochovský and Petar Valchanov & Kristina Grozeva, received Eurimages coproduction support at the second session in 2022. The results were announced on 27 June 2022.

PRAGUE: Tomasz Wiński’s debut feature Borders of Love / Hranice lásky has been picked-up by French Loco Film. The Czech/Polish coproduction will have its world premiere within the Crystal Globe Competition of the 56th Karlovy Vary IFF (1 - 9 July 2022).
