CineLink Co-Production Market and CineLink Drama 2021 Announce Selected Projects
Bosnia-Herzegovina 08-06-2021SARAJEVO: Ten feature films and six drama series from Southeast Europe have been selected for the 2021 CineLink Co-production Market and CineLink Drama, respectively. They will take part in a preparatory workshop from 7 to 25 June 2021 and will be showcased 14-19 August 2021.
Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) and Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event are proud to announce the five projects taking part in Tallinn Black Nights Goes To Cannes this summer.
For the first time Black Nights Film Festival joins the well established Marché du Film showcase "Goes to Cannes", presenting 5 international film projects in post-production stage in Cannes this July. “Black Nights Goes to Cannes” is part of the PÖFF’s 25th birthday celebrations, in a year where PÖFF’s industry platform Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event also celebrates its 20th anniversary.

BUCHAREST: The Romanian majority coproduction Marona’s Fantastic Tale by Anca Damian received the award for the Best European Children’s Film of the Year at the European Children’s Film Association (ECFA) gala, streamed live from the Zlin Film Festival's studio.
BUCHAREST: Filmmakers, dance artists, animators, visual artists and digital art makers are invited to submit their works to the competition section of the 7th Bucharest International Dance Film Festival (BIDFF), which will take place 1-5 September 2021 under the theme Potential Worlds.
BIDFF - Bucharest International Dance Film Festival invites filmmakers, dance artists, animators, visual artists and digital art makers to submit their works for the competitional section of the festival. The festival takes place each year in September, in multiple locations from Bucharest, Romania. BIDFF encourages syncretism and dialogue between movement and diverse forms of cinema and visual art, from the more traditional ones to experimental or virtual reality works. Besides film screenings, BIDFF organizes panels, exhibitions, public presentations and film production labs.
RIGA: Latvia will launch six pilot projects, including two film screenings at Forum Cinemas' Kino Citadele, starting 10 June 2021, in order to develop and check the requirements for the safe reopening of the cultural sector.
ZAGREB: Jure Pavlović’s debut feature Mater was released under the title Mère et fille in France on 2 June 2021.
The Sarajevo Film Festival is introducing a new award category: Hearts of Sarajevo for TV Series, wishing to promote high-quality regional television series and their authors, actors, and actresses, and to heighten their international appeal.
TV drama series and comedies that had been premiered from 01 September 2019 to 31 May 2021 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Slovenia, are eligible for the awards.
