Open Call for Shorts - dance films, musicals, animations - Bucharest International Dance Film Festival (September 3 – 6, 2020)
Festivals 11-05-2020Bucharest International Dance Film Festival, the only cinema event in Romania dedicated to dance films, launched the open call for short dance films, musicals and animated movies. Deadlines: May 31st (Early bird), June 14th (Regular), July 5th (Late).
BUCHAREST: The Romanian COVID pandemic feature film Nine Stories of Love and Hate in Isolation / Nouă povești de dragoste și ură in izolare by Dan Chișu had 15,000 viewers at its online premiere on 10 May 2020. This no budget feature film was shot with mobile phones by the actors themselves in a span of one week.
The National Film Centre of Latvia announced the following grants on 7 May 2020.
RIGA: The Baltic Sea Docs Forum for Documentaries (BSD), a leading documentary training and pitching event in the Baltic countries, has announced a call for projects. The 24th edition will take place in Riga from 1 to 6 September 2020. The call for projects is open through 8 June.
BERLIN: SOFA, the School of Film Advancement has announced that it is accepting project proposals for its eighth edition. Up to eight projects will be selected for the 2021 series of workshops
We are pleased to let you know that the EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival has been included in the list of 50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee in 2020. The list was prepared by MovieMaker, the prestigious American magazine, and the FilmFreeway platform. It includes film events from around the world, with only three of them held in Poland, which makes us all the more proud and satisfied.

For its 8th edition, SOFA – School of Film Advancement is looking for up to eight film initiators, cultural managers, entrepreneurs, facilitators and catalysts with unique project ideas in the audiovisual world.
