Members of EFAD (European Association of Directors of Film Funds and Centers), of which HAVC director Chris Marcich is a member, expressed solidarity with the population of Ukraine on the invasion of the country, violating the territorial integrity of any sovereign state. EFAD's core values are the defense of democracy, freedom of expression and freedom of creative expression, as well as its commitment to respect for human rights, and in Ukraine each of these principles is currently threatened.

ZAGREB: The 18th edition of the International Documentary Film Festival ZagrebDox is set to take place 3-10 April 2022 with around thirty films vying in the international and regional competition programmes. The Festival will also include the ZagrebDox PRO educational platform for film professionals, special screenings, discussions and presentations.
