TALLINN: Beta Film has sold the TV series Estonia to Seven.One Entertainment Group, which runs ProSieben. The coproduction between Finland, Estonia, Belgium and Sweden is currently in production with the Estonian parts set to be filmed 10 August - 9 September 2022.

VALLETTA: The 18th Kinemastik International Short Film Festival will screen international and local films in the Garden of Rest in Floriana 29 – 31 July 2022.

MOTOVUN: Nineteen feature films are competing for the Propeller of Motovun, the main award of the Motovun Film Festival running in Motovun, Croatia 26-30 July 2022. This year, 25 titles have been selected from among a record number of submissions, 728, for the Motovun Shorts competition.

BUCHAREST: Five feature films and long documentaries were selected for the 19th edition of the Anonimul International Independent Film Festival, set to take place at Sfantu Gheorghe, in the Danube Delta, Romania 8 – 14 August 2022.

VENICE: The Serbian/Croatian coproduction Have You Seen This Woman by Dušan Zorić and Matija Gluscević, the Colombian/Romanian/French/German coproduction Anhell69 by Theo Montoya, and the short film Sapling, which is a Romanian minority coproduction directed by Lorenzo Fabbro and Bronte Stahl, have been selected for the 37th edition of the Venice Critics’ Week (31 August – 10 September 2022).

WROCLAW: Milk & Honey directed by Georgian Tornike Gogrichiani received the New Horizons Association / London Film Academy Award at the 13th edition of the New Horizons Studio+, which took place 21 – 24 July 2022 within the 22nd New Horizons International Film Festival (21 - 31 July 2022).

WARSAW: The Viaplay streaming service will be available to CANAL+ Polska's subscribers thanks to a direct-to-home (DTH) distribution partnership between Viaplay Group and CANAL+ Polska.

WARSAW: A total of  26 projects have been selected from among 95 projects from 27 countries for the upcoming edition of the Kids Kino Industry coproduction forum, set to take place in Warsaw / online 27 – 29 September and online on 30 September 2022. The number of submissions is a record in the history of the event.
