The project ‘Dandelion’ by screenwriter Cassi Camilleri was the best project of the pitching forum and awarded a financial award in the amount of 3,000 EUR. The project ‘Apollon Club’ by Kruno Trninić (screenwriter, director) and Maja Gros (producer) was awarded a financial award in the amount of 1,500 EUR under the auspices of OFF Pro Film Market / Sarajevo Youth Film Festival. The project ‘Punishment’ by Mile Božičević (screenwriter, director) was awarded with festival / distribution strategies on behalf of Sayonara Film while ‘Just One Thing’ by Daria Stilin (screenwriter, director) was awarded by direct participation in the Baltic Pitching Forum, ‘The Oak Tree’ by Kyriakos Ghikas (screenwriter, director) and producer Marina Danezi was awarded with consulting services on pitching presentation on behalf of European Short Pitch, and 'The Commandments of Line 18' by Alexander Marcel Hövel (screenwriter, director) was awarded by direct participation as part of the Sunny Shorts Film Market / Hvar FF.

BUCHAREST: Romanian Minister of Culture Raluca Turcan has announced that all the international projects shot in Romania under the cash rebate scheme in 2018, 2019 and 2020 will be settled in the next two months. Four of them will be reimbursed till 22 July 2024.

POTSDAM: Over 70 international film professionals travelled to Potsdam on 3 July 2024 for the 24th edition of German Films Previews, an annual three-day event organised by German Films since 2001.

Following last year's successful German Films Previews in Potsdam, German Films invited film buyers to come again to the Brandenburg state capital at the beginning of July. International film buyers from around the globe travelled to Germany on Wednesday, 3 July 2024 for the annual event which celebrated its 24th edition in 2024. The buyers from Australia probably had the furthest journey to take, but guests from Argentina, Mexico, the USA, Taiwan, Israel and Lebanon also came from afar. In addition, there were numerous buyers from Europe, from Spain to Poland and Estonia, and from Turkey through Greece all the way to the UK.
