MOTOVUN: Nineteen feature films are competing for the Propeller of Motovun, the main award of the Motovun Film Festival running in Motovun, Croatia 26-30 July 2022. This year, 25 titles have been selected from among a record number of submissions, 728, for the Motovun Shorts competition.

VENICE: The Serbian/Croatian coproduction Have You Seen This Woman by Dušan Zorić and Matija Gluscević, the Colombian/Romanian/French/German coproduction Anhell69 by Theo Montoya, and the short film Sapling, which is a Romanian minority coproduction directed by Lorenzo Fabbro and Bronte Stahl, have been selected for the 37th edition of the Venice Critics’ Week (31 August – 10 September 2022).
WROCLAW: Milk & Honey directed by Georgian Tornike Gogrichiani received the New Horizons Association / London Film Academy Award at the 13th edition of the New Horizons Studio+, which took place 21 – 24 July 2022 within the 22nd New Horizons International Film Festival (21 - 31 July 2022).

Festivals 26-07-2022BRNO/PRAHA/ČR - This year's 48th EKOFILM international environmental film festival will offer a cardinal spectacle. A total of 243 documentaries from more than 50 countries have entered the competition. This year, the United States leads the way with 34 entries, followed closely by Germany with 27 films. The Czech Republic is putting forward 20 documentaries. The dramaturgy team will select the 25 most interesting films from all the entries next month to enter the final competition. The oldest environmental film festival in Europe will take place in Brno from 12th to 15th October this year.
