The event is designed to nurture a lasting bond between the Montenegrin, regional and European film industries.

LOCARNO: Films from FNE partner countries finished the 77th Locarno Film Festival (7 – 17 August 2024) with several awards, including the Golden Leopard in the Concorso Internazionale for Lithuanian debut feature Toxic by Saulė Bliuvaitė and the Golden Leopard in the Concorso Cineasti del Presente for the Georgian majority coproduction Holy Electricity directed by another first time director, Tato Kotetishvili.
