Vilnius International Film Festival unveils distribution partnership with A24 and Baltic expansion
Festivals 24-10-2023With only six months left until the 29th Vilnius International Film Festival (VIFF) Kino Pavasaris, the festival team is excited to share updates on its evolving organization and the expansion of the distribution department. Kino Pavasaris Distribution is taking its commitment to year-round quality cinema to new heights, expanding internationally and partnering with the A24 film studio, one of the fastest-growing film studios in the United States.
BRATISLAVA: Czech sales agent Filmotor has acquired the documentary Photophobia directed by Ivan Ostrochovský and Pavol Pekarčík. The film has been selected as Slovakia’s candidate for the 96th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category.
RIGA: Finnish Family Time by Tia Kouvo received the Golden Rooster Award in the main competition of the 10th Riga International Film Festival, which was held 12 – 22 October 2023.
Films from FNE Partner Countries Nominated for EFA Awards 2023 in Animated Feature and Short Film Categories
Region 20-10-2023BERLIN: Three majority and minority coproductions from FNE partner countries have been nominated for the European Film Awards 2023 in the categories European Animated Feature Film and European Short Film. The winner will be announced at the ceremony held in Berlin on 9 December 2023.
POTSDAM: The Erich Pommer Institut (EPI) has announced 15 participants for the 2023 edition of AUDIOVISUAL WOMEN, a leadership programme which will be held in five modules from October 2023 to March 2024.
