Belgium-based Peter Snowdon’s The Uprising, a compilation of amateur footage from the Arab spring, was awarded the Opus Bonum - Best World Documentary Film Award at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival in the Czech Republic.
WARSAW: The European Parliament has adopted the new Creative Europe. The members of parliament voted 650 in favour, 32 against and there were 10 abstentions to approve the new programme which will be in effect from 2014-2020.
