American comedy Enough Said by director Nicole Holofcener, premiered at the film festival Toronto, will open the 15th International Film Festival Bratislava. The ceremonial opening will take place on 6 November in the premises of Kino Nostalgia, in the social house NIVY – in the first Bratislava classical digitalised cinema.

Festivals 17-09-2013One of the most internationally acclaimed Scandinavian filmmakers – Danish Academy Award winning director-writer-cinematographer BILLE AUGUST – is to receive the Award for Artistic Excellence in World Cinematography at the 15th IFF Bratislava.
The 15th Bratislava IFF will present films about human strength. Such are the stories Wadjda from Saudi Arabia, Nairobi Half Life from Kenya, The Broken Circle Breakdown from Belgium or La Paz from Argentina – these are only a couple of films narrating strong stories on courageous people. Programme sections of the 15th IFF Bratislava, taking place from 6 to 12 November, will offer numerous high-quality and impressive films.
