BRATISLAVA: Slovak director Jonáš Karásek wrapped shooting on his second feature film Amnesty / Amnestie focusing on the turbulent period around and right after the Velvet Revolution. This Slovak/Czech coproduction produced and co-written by Maroš Hečko is expected to be released in November 2019, on the 30th anniversary of the revolution.

BELGRADE: Stefan Arsenijević started shooting his long-awaited new feature Strahinja as a coproduction between Serbia, France, Luxembourg and Bulgaria in early November 2018. His debut feature Love and Other Crimes / Ljubav i drugi zločini, produced by Art & Popcorn, premiered in Berlin Film Festival's official programme in 2008.

TALLINN: Legendary Estonian film director Hardi Volmer is in post-production with a feature film about the first Estonian filmmaker, The Real Life of Johannes Pääsuke / Johannes Pääsukese tõeline elu, who lived in the first half of the 20th century. Pääsuke filmed a documentary in the most southern part of Estonia, Setomaa, in 1913.

LJUBLJANA: Damjan Kozole began production on the Slovenian/Macedonian/Serbian/Croatian coproduction Half-Sister / Polsestra on 27 October 2018. The 32 days of filming are taking place in Ljubljana and the Slovenian fishing village of Izola, and will be completed on 14 December.
