PODGORICA: How to Save a Dead Friend by Marusya Syroechkovskaya and Factory to the Workers by Croatian Srdjan Kovačević received the Dandelion awards in the international and regional competition, respectively, at the 13th edition of the international documentary film festival UnderhillFest, which wrapped in Podgorica.

SARAJEVO: Seventeen series from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Slovenia have been selected for the second edition of the TV series Awards at the 28th Sarajevo Film Festival. This year the Heart of Sarajevo Awards for TV series will be awarded in two categories: drama series and comedy.

BERLIN: The three German cinema associations AG Kino - Gilde, Bundesverband kommunale Filmarbeit and HDF Kino are organising “Cinema Vision 2030: the conference on innovation for cinema”, which will be held online on 22-23 June 2022.

WARSAW: Films from Cyprus, Estonia, Poland and Malta are among those screened at the first-ever European Film Festival in Saudi Arabia taking place from 15 to 22 June 2022.

TIMIȘOARA: Six films about freedom are competing for the Ceau Cinema! Award “Răzvan Georgescu” and the Audience Award at the 9th edition of the Ceau Cinema! Festival, set to take place in Timișoara, Romania from 14 to 17 July 2022.

VALLETTA: Admissions in cinemas in Malta and Gozo in 2021 were 269,763, of which 11,938 admissions were for Maltese films (mostly short films).

WARSAW: Disney+ will launch in a number of countries on 14 June 2022, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
