TBILISI: Georgian director Ioseb Bliadze’s debut feature film Otar’s Death screens in the main competition of the 21st edition of the Tbilisi International Film Festival, which opened in an online format on 30 November 2020 and runs through 20 December. The films will be screened on the online platform Festival Scope and will be free for the public.

The table presents a purely informative overview of the process of implementation of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive 2018/1808 into the national legal systems of the 27-EU member states and in the UK. In the case of Belgium, the Flemish, French and German speaking communities were represented separately.

BRATISLAVA: Slovak director Peter Kerekes received the Arab Critics’ Award at the Cairo IFF for the Slovak/Czech/Ukrainian coproduction 107 Mothers. Kerekes received the award virtually at a gala ceremony on 1 December 2021.
FNE at Animateka 2021: No One Ever Looked at Elephants as You Do Wins Pitching Prize
Slovenia 02-12-2021LJUBLJANA: The Slovenian project No One Ever Looked at Elephants as You Do won the fifth edition of Animateka PRO Pitch that took place on 30 November as part of the 18th International Animated Film Festival Animateka (29 November – 5 December 2021). The short film is directed by Sandra Jovanovska and produced by Miha Černec for Staragara.
PRAGUE: CEE Animation Forum, the leading animation pitching, financing, and coproduction event in Central Europe, is accepting applications from animated projects in five categories through 16 January 2022. The categories are: features, series/TV specials, short films, student films, and XR projects.
