WARSAW: Nine leading European and international film organisations have issued a statement in support of the Slovenian film community over the government’s blockage of funding.

For the first time ever, EnergaCAMERIMAGE screenings, seminars and other live events will be available online on our dedicated streaming platform. Here are some basic rules for the entry card holders regarding online.energacamerimage.pl:

TORUN: The 2020 edition of EnergaCAMERIMAGE, has announced the launch of its first streaming platform online.energacamerimage.pl, which begins offering online booking on 13 November 2020.

PARIS: The International Confederation of Arthouse Cinemas (CICAE) issued a statement welcoming the agreement reached by the European Parliament and EU Member States in the Council on the upcoming long-term budget (2021-2027) and NextGenerationEU, the temporary recovery instrument.

Since 2016 EWA Network has supported strong documentary projects at DOK Leipzig Co-production market. From 2019 on, the award goes to a project in the CIRCLE DOC accelerator selection.

Demand: Recovery plans budget should be doubled in the crisis

BUCHAREST: Radu Ciorniciuc, whose first documentary Acasă My Home is nominated at the European Film Awards in the European Documentary 2020 category, is currently in production with his second documentary. Tata, co-directed with Lina Vdovîi (the writer from Acasă My Home) and produced again by Romania's Manifest Film, it is set for release in 2023.

These are the production and minority coproduction grants announced since the beginning of 2020.

SEVILLE: The Polish/French coproduction Corpus Christi by Jan Komasa received four nominations at the European Film Awards, including the European Film 2020 category, where the Czech/Ukrainian/Slovak coproduction The Painted Bird was also nominated. For the first time, two Romanian documentaries, collective and Acasă My Home received nominations in the European Documentary 2020 category.
