The most compelling Romanian films of the past year will be screened at the 24th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival, in the much-anticipated Romanian Days section. This year's competition features eight feature-length films — including an impressive six documentaries — and 20 short films, competing for the Best Feature Film, Best Debut, and Best Short Film awards. In addition to the competition, the program presents world premieres and acclaimed Romanian productions from the past year, screened out of competition.
CLUJ-NAPOCA: Six of the eight long films selected for the Competition of the Romanian Film Days section at the 24th Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) are documentaries. Twenty films have been selected for the Short Film Competition.

The Baltic Event Co-Production Market will take place 19–21 November, with broader industry events running from 14–21 November 2025 in Tallinn.

PODGORICA: The European Film Festival will screen free of charge award-winning feature, documentary and animated films in the Montenegrin towns of Podgorica, Bijelo Polje and Bar from 29 May to 7 June 2025.
Hungarian Animation Ready for Its Major Presence at Annecy International Animation FF 2025
Hungary 22-05-2025BUDAPEST: Hungary’s guest country programme at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (8 – 14 June 2025) is an initiative of the National Film Institute – Hungary (NFI) and part of the broader strategy to develop the national animation industry. On the eve of the event, NFI launched the first English-language professional website dedicated to Hungarian animation, as well as an industry trailer with the most significant domestic animated works of the past decade.
