AMC Networks International – Central Europe (AMCNI-CE) has acquired the Czech and Slovak Film+ channel from IKO Media Group.

My Happy Family, a new project by Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Gross produced by Georgia’s Polare Film is among 36 feature film projects from 28 countries selected for the 12th annual Berlinale Co-Production Market (8 – 10 February 2015) and will look for partners in a new section called Berlinale Directors

Two out of the three awards from the Europa Cinema Awards 2014 were granted to CEE countries.

ZAGREB: Croatian beneficiaries and audiovisual industry stakeholders have drawn 3.3 million Euro of non-returnable grants from 2008 to 2013. The MEDIA Sub-Programme gave 531,424 EUR to Croatian audiovisual projects in 2014.

East Doc Platform, the most important industry event dedicated to documentary films from East and Central Europe, organized by the Institute of Documentary Film, will take place in Prague from 2 to 8 March 2015.
