BORDEAUX: The Czech/Slovak/Slovenian/Polish coproduction Of Unwanted Things and People directed by David Súkup, Ivana Laučíková, Leon Vidmar and Agata Gorządek won the Eurimages Co-production Development Award at the 21st Cartoon Movie. The pitching event took place in Bordeaux, France, from 5 to 7 March 2019.

FNE IDF DocBloc: Greta Stocklassa: I Feel an Obligation to the Protagonists
Czech Republic 08-03-2019Greta Stocklassa is currently making Kiruna 2.0, a film about the relocation of a Swedish mining town. Being half-Swedish, Stocklassa is opening another opportunity for Czech documentary film to get closer to Europe, something more and more often attempted by young Czech filmmakers.
Beldocs Industry 2019 is funded by European Union, through Creative Europe MEDIA, Access to Market call. Last 10 days to apply different section of Beldocs Industry, deadline is 10th of March. Projects in development, work in progress, rough cut from Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, are eligible to apply. Projects should be either main production or co-production of countries listed above.

As you know the MEDIA programme actively supports the training of professionals from new member countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Republic of Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tunisia & Ukraine).
To this end, CARTOON encourages applications for scholarships to its CARTOON MASTERS. The next Cartoon Business will be held in Tampere (Finland) from 23rd to 25th April 2019.
CARTOON will cover hotel (3 nights from 23rd to 26th April) and meals, and refund up to a maximum of 200 EUR for transportation expenses.
