Film New Europe and Independent Film Foundation are celebrating the 10th anniversary of ScripTeast with a series of weekly interviews with scriptwriters and key players involved in ScripTeast activity. This week we focus on Bulgaria and we speak with the director, producer and scriptwriter Stephan Komandarev from Argo Film, and also with the scriptwriter and director Iglika Triffonova, who won the Krzysztof Kieslowski ScripTeast Award in 2011.

ZAGREB: The 3rd part of the Danish comedy Three Heists and a Hamster / Alle for Tre by Rasmus Heide began shooting in various locations in Istria on 11 April 2016.

ISTANBUL: The winners of the 11th edition of Meetings on the Bridge were announced on 13 April 2016. The workshop took place on 8-14 April 2016 within the 35th Istanbul Film Festival.

JILHAVA: Submissions for the Docu Talents from the East 2016, a presentation of the finest Central and Eastern European creative documentaries in production or postproduction, are now open until 30 April 2016.

PRAGUE: Slovak operator Antik Telecom can now provide paid satellite TV service in the Czech Republic, as its subsidiary Tango Bohemia won a license for satellite radio and TV broadcasting. The Czech Radio and TV Broadcasting Council (RRTV) awarded the license for the territory of the Czech Republic.

BUCHAREST/ZAGREB: Projects Neither I From You, Nor Me From You by Tudor Cristian Jurgiu and (The) Staffroom by Sonja Tarokić are among the nine projects selected for FrameWork at TorinoFilmLab.
