RIGA: Eighteen projects from countries including Poland, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Georgia are in the selection of the 26th Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries (Baltic Sea Docs), which will run 5-11 September 2022. Baltic Sea Docs will return to the in-person event in Riga after two online editions and an online segment will remain part of the event.
The following grants were announced by Film Center Serbia on 7 and 13 July 2022, respectively.
Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries (Baltic Sea Docs) has concluded the project selection for its 26th edition that will run on 5-11 September. The most important documentary training and pitching event in the Baltic countries, Baltic Sea Docs is focused on projects from the wider Baltic Sea region, Eastern Europe and Caucasus region. The 18 selected projects represent film studios in 8 countries, including Poland, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Germany, and Ukraine.
VALLETTA: The eighth instalment of the Mission: Impossible series will be partly shot in Malta in 2023. It will be the first time that Tom Cruise will film on the island.
