PRAGUE: CEE Animation Forum, the leading animation pitching, financing, and coproduction event in Central Europe, is accepting applications from animated projects in five categories through 16 January 2022. The categories are: features, series/TV specials, short films, student films, and XR projects.

WARSAW: The first SOFA (School of Film Advancement) Alumni Workshop, held in Warsaw 9 – 12 November 2021, concentrated on female leadership and sustainability.

TBILISI: Srđan Golubović's social drama Father / Otac / Oče screens in the main competition of the 21st edition of the Tbilisi International Film Festival, which opened in an online format on 30 November 2020 and runs through 20 December. The films will be screened on the online platform Festival Scope and will be free for the public

Between November 9-12 SOFA – School of Film Advancement held it’s very first Alumni workshop. Focusing on Female Leadership and Sustainability, the workshop took place virtually in the Polish Capital, Warsaw and alongside with keynotes, one-on-one meetings and a film screening, it offered intercultural exchange and networking for it’s participants.

LJUBLJANA: The 18th edition of Slovenia’s festival of animated films, Animateka opened on 29 November 2021 and continues through 5 December. The festival will present 344 short films and seven animated feature films in three competition sections.

On November 25, Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event, celebrating its 20th edition this year, rewarded the best projects after a seven-day summit full of presentations, networking, panel discussions and meetings with more than 550 guests onsite and 150 online, from all around the globe.

TBILISI: Nine titles have been selected for the Georgian Full-length Fictions Competition of the 22st edition of the Tbilisi International Film Festival, which will take place in person from 5 December to 12 December 2021.

Nine titles have also been selected for the Georgian Documentaries Competition, while the Georgian Shorts + Animation Competition was completed with 18 films.
