Magic Boys, which stars Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones, will complete filming after two more shoots in London and Budapest. The film, directed by Róbert Koltai, is being shot mainly in English.

PRODUCTION: Miklauzic film in post-production

Hungarian director Bence Miklauzic (Sleepwalkers, 2002) and is in post-production with his second full length feature, Children of the Green Dragon (A zöld sárkány gyermekei). The theatrical release is planned for autumn or at the next Hungarian Film Week 2011 (www.hungarianfilmweek.com).

Puskás feature in preproduction

Legendary Hungarian soccer player, Ferenc Puskás is the protagonist of an ambitious feature project which is planned to be finished in 2012. Producer Ádám Neményi told film.hu that the script written by Norbert Köbli is in rewrites at Fade In Script Consulting (http://fadein.eu).

PRODUCTION: In Treatment / În derivă series shooting

HBO Central Europe is shooting its first European series in Romania, from April until the end of August 2010. In Treatment is an adaptation of BeTipul, a series made by Hagai Levi for Israeli television. The series was previously adapted by HBO United States (www.hbo.com) as In Treatment, starring Gabriel Byrne.

Vlado Škafar's Debut Dad premieres at Venice Film Festival

Vlado Škafar's first feature film Dad is one of the seven films picked from more than 200 entries for this year's International Film Critics' Week (www.sicvenezia.it) held as part of the Venice Film Festival 2010. Škafar is one of the founders of Slovenian Cinémathèque and was its programme department director from 1994 to 1999. He has previously made full length-documentary films including Letter to a Child (2008) and Peterka: Year of Decision (2003).
