Bosnia-Herzegovina 26-10-2021SARAJEVO: Igor Drljača’s third feature film The White Fortress / Tabija has been selected as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s candidate for the 94th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category. The film is a Canadian/Bosnian coproduction.
JIHLAVA: The 5th edition of Ji.hlava Academy will take place online from 27 to 30 October 2021. The educational, networking and inspiring platform open to emerging filmmakers in non-fiction contemporary cinema will focus on Film Poetry.
LJUBLJANA: Ten films will run for the Kingfisher Award for the best film in the Perspectives competition of the 32nd Ljubljana International Film Festival (LIFFe), which will be held in cinemas from 10 to 21 November 2021.

BUCHAREST: Romanian authorities have decided to close cinemas, theatres, restaurants and shopping malls at 9 p.m. daily starting on 25 October 2021, as the incidence rate of Coronavirus infections is increasing. Cinemas will also have to work at 30% of capacity, instead of 50%.
