The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the list of eight semi-finalists in the Documentary Short Subject category for the 2010 Academy Awards. Three to five of those shorts will end up with Oscar nominations. Short documentary Rabbit à la Berlin by Bartek Konopka and Piotr Rosolowski is among the eight selected films. The Documentary was developed at Ex Oriente Film 2005 and producer Anna Wydra will hold the film´s case study at this year's East European Forum. Congratulations!

ScripTeast Stationary Lab was concluded on Friday, 2nd of October in Ossolinski Palace, Sterdyn, Poland. During the 7-day workshops Authors of 12 projects representing 9 Central and Eastern European Countries (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia) were having individual meetings with Creative Advisors, attended case studies and film screenings.

THE INTERNATIONAL ANTALYA GOLDEN ORANGE FILM FESTIVAL WILL BE CELEBRATING ITS 46th ANNIVERSARY ON OCTOBER 10-17TH, 2009.
On Tuesday, September 15th, 2009, the Antalya Golden Orange Festival Committee held its first official press conference at the Istanbul Dedeman Hotel. Officiating over the Press Conference was the Mayor of Antalya and Chairman of the Board for AKSAV, Prof. Mustafa AKAYDIN and Chief Art Director of AKSAV, Vecdi SAYAR. The final selection of films that will be competing in this year's 46th INTERNATIONAL ANTALYA GOLDEN ORANGE FILM FESTIVAL were announced to the attending members of the Turkish press.
THE INTERNATIONAL GOLDEN ORANGE FILM COMPETTION
On October 10th-17th, 2009 the city of Antalya will once again host one of the most prestigious events of the year with the 46th Antalya International Golden Orange Film Festival. This year's Festival is sponsored by the Municipality of Antalya, and organized by the Antalya Arts & Cultural Foundation (AKSAV).
Since last Saturday authors of 12 projects selected to take part in ScripTeast have been attending individual meetings with a group of Creative Advisors, featuring Marc Caro (France), Cesar winner, scriptwriter and director of "Delicatessen", „The City of Lost Children", "Dante 01"; an animator and author of the visual concept for "Vidocq" and "Alien 4"; Chris Collins (UK), BAFTA winner, producer of „My Summer of Love", „Brick Lane", development producer in the UK Film Council; Licia Eminenti (Italy/France) script expert, working for Arte, Eurimages, Media Fund and sales specialist in Gemini Films; also a scriptwriter and director; Robert Jones (UK), producer and co-producer of Oscar, BAFTA, and European Film Award winning films, ie: „The Usual Suspects", „The Constant Gardener", „Gosford Park", "Vera Drake", "The Merchant of Venice" and other; Joelle Levie {mosimage}(Canada/France) long-term Director of Quebec division of Telefilm Canada; General Director for Cinema and Television at the Société de Développement des Entreprises Culturelles; founder and director of Ateliers Grand Nord - script workshops for French speaking countries; Udayan Prasad (UK), BAFTA nominee scriptwriter and director of ie: „Opa!", "My Son the Fanatic", „Yellow Hankerchief" to name a few, also lecturer; Jason Resnick (USA) long-term International Sales Director at Universal Pictures and Focus Film, co-operates with governmental film agencies in South America, independent advisor on co-production, sales and financing; Antonio Saura (Spain) producer of ie: „Fados", „Salome", co-founder of distribution company, Latino Films; involved in establishing European training programs ie: Media Business School and Mediterranea Development Agency; Antonin Svoboda (Austria), producer of the Oscar nominated "Darwin's Nightmare", and films like: "The Educators", "Pepperminta", "Free Rainer", selected to the competitions in Cannes, Venice and Locarno; has written and directed several films, ie: "Forever Never Anywhere". Roles of Heads of Studies have again been taken by Tom Abrams, professor of the Southern California University in Los Angeles, and Christian Routh, long-term Director at the Media backed European Script Fund, hold the positions of the Heads of Studies of ScripTeast.
