RIGA: Dace Pūce’s debut feature The Pit / Bedre has been selected as Latvia’s candidate for the 94th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category. The film is a Latvian/Finnish coproduction.
EKOFILM, a festival of environmental documentaries, starts tomorrow on 20 October 2021
Festivals 19-10-2021BRNO/CZ – Starting tomorrow, Brno will become the epicentre of environmental documentaries for four days. A delegation of filmmakers will be present at the screening of ten competing films at the 47th EKOFILM International Film Festival with an environmental theme. Filip Remunda, Joep van Dijk from the Netherlands and Jakub Šipoš from Slovakia are among personalities visiting the festival. The meeting with the filmmakers will be accompanied by a screening of two of the four non-competing films.
