TBILISI: The National Archive of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia will host the 3rd edition of the Tbilisi International Archival Film Festival from 17 to 20 September 2024.

Romania 31-07-2024BUCHAREST: The two new films by the acclaimed Romanian helmer Radu Jude, Eight Postcards from Utopia (co-directed together with philosopher Christian Ferencz-Flatz) and Sleep #2, will have their world premiere under the title Paradise Dreams. 2 Found-footage Films in the Fuori Concorso section of the 77th Locarno Film Festival (7 – 17 August 2024). Eight Postcards from Utopia has already been picked up by Heretic.
PALIĆ: Emilija Gašić’ debut feature 78 Days won the Golden Tower for Best Film in the Official Selection as well as the Gorki List Audience Award at the 31st European Film Festival Palić.
MESTIA: George Ovashvili’s The Frost and a Little Schoolboy received the award for Best Short Film at the 4th edition of the Mestia International Short and Mountain Film Festival (23 – 27 July 2024). Oreste’s Hut by Italian director Raffaella Tolicetti was awarded Best Mountain Film.
