FNE at Cannes 2017: EFP Producer on the Move: Jovana Nikolić, Serbia
BELGRADE: Jovana Nikolić is this year’s Serbian representative in the European Film Promotion’s Producers on the Move initiative. Nikolić works as a producer at her own production company Prababa, which she launched in 2007 in order to specialise in creative documentary filmmaking.

SARAJEVO:The Association of Filmmakers of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be represented at the EFP Producers on the Move for the second year in a row, with Zoran Galić selected for the 2017 honor.

TBILISI: EFP Producer on the Move Lasha Khalvashi graduated in Law and Economics and served as the CEO of Millimeter Film before founding the film company Studio Artizm in 2014. He is experienced in international coproductions and especially focuses on emerging talents. His portfolio includes feature films, short films, documentaries and animated films. He is a member of the Union of Georgian Filmmakers and of the Film Producers Guild of Georgia.
EFP Producer on the Move: Pavla Janoušková Kubečková, Czech Republic
PRAGUE: Pavla Janoušková Kubečková (born 1985), who represents the Czech Republic at European Film Promotions’s Producers on the Move, studied Journalism and Media Studies at the Charles University and Film Production at FAMU. In 2009 she co-founded the nutprodukce production company and became an independent producer.
EFP Producer on the Move: Maria Blicharska, Poland
WARSAW: Producer on the Move Maria Blicharska, co-founder of the Polish company Donten & Lacroix Films, is a seasoned film professional experienced in international coproduction. She is the Polish coproducer of Frost directed by Sharunas Bartas, which will premiere in Cannes Director's Fortnight 2017.
EFP Producer on the Move: Gints Grube, Latvia
RIGA: Gints Grube got a BA in philosophy, did doctoral studies in political science and worked extensively in the media before becoming the director of Hansa Media production company and finally the co-owner and director of Mistrus Media in 2000.
EFP Producer on the Move: Iuliana Tarnovețchi, Romania
BUCHAREST: Iuliana Tarnovețchi studied Psychology and in 1995 started working for Castel Film and Pro TV. She was Production Manager and Production Coordinator for MediaPro Pictures in 2000 - 2005, Head of Development and Head of Cinema, and also Executive Producer for MediaPro Pictures in 2006 - 2011. Her name is linked to dozens of films including Callas Forever by Franco Zeffirelli, Amen by Costa-Gavras and California Dreamin’ (Endless) by Cristian Nemescu.

LJUBLJANA: Petra Vidmar, producer at the Slovenian production company Gustav Film, will attend this year's Cannes Film Festival as a part of Producers on the Move initiative organised by the EFP.
EFP Producer on the Move: Bulgaria's Mila Voinikova
SOFIA: Mila Voinikova represents Bulgaria as a European Film Promotion 2017 Producer on the Move. For eight years she has been working at Miramar Film founded in 2001 by Ilian Djevelekov, Matey Konstantinov and Georgy Dimitrov.

TALLINN: Aet Laigu is this year’s Estonian representative in the European Film Promotion’s (EFP) Producers on the Move programme. Laigu works as a producer and screenwriter at her own production company Meteoriit and is just back from the Tribeca Film Festival where her film Mother / Ema screened in the main competition.

TBILISI: Nino Devdariani, European Film Promotion’s Producer on the Move from Georgia, was encouraged by her husband, filmmaker George Ovashvili, to get involved in the film business. The former ballerina started as his assistant and the couple co-founded the production company Alamdary Film in 2010. She is currently producing Ovashvili’s feature films but would like to work with other directors as well.

BRATISLAVA: This year Slovakia will be represented in Producers on the Move by producer Marek Urban. Urban began working in his father Marian Urban´s production company (ALEF Film & media group) when he was 18 years old, and studied documentary directing at Bratislava's Academy of Performing Arts. In 2004 he has established his own production company togather with fellow director and producer Ivan Ostrochovský, sentimental film.
