PRAGUE: An extremely popular Czech romantic comedy series Poets / Básníci with Pavel Kříž and David Matásek in the lead roles will, after 12 years, get a continuation. The series started back in the times of Czechoslovakia. The previous parts were made in the years 1982, 1984, 1987, 1993 and 2004.

LJUBLJANA: Miha Knific, whose film Four Things I Wanted to Do With You (RTV Slovenija, 2015) competed at this year's Slovenian Film Festival in Portoroz, is in postproduction with his third feature film, Perseverance.

BUCHAREST: Jesús del Cerro, who built a career as a director of popular family films and romantic comedies produced by Mediapro Pictures, goes independent with Pregnant, In Romania / Sunt însărcinată. PRAGUE: The 5th part of the popular vampire saga Underworld started shooting in Prague on 6 October 2015. The film stars British actors Kate Beckinsale and Theo James.

PRAGUE: Dan Wlodarczyk’s feature film Green Horse Rustlers / Zloději zelených koní, based on a book under the same title by Jiří Hájíček, will soon wrap shooting. The release is planned for the fall of 2016.
