RIGA: Latvian company SIA Tet, and Lithuanian and Estonian branches of the Telia Company group have signed a cooperation agreement with Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group.
CLUJ-NAPOCA: Utama by Alejandro Loayza Grisi won the Transilvania Trophy at the 21st edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), which took place in Cluj-Napoca 17-26 June 2022. The shooting of the live-action feature Lunatic has just been wrapped up on the main pier in the Slovenian seaside town of Piran. Written and directed by Igor Šterk, Lunatic is the first Slovenian film attempting to tackle an autobiography of an ordinary family, but with a father dedicated to something extremely unusual.
Debut feature and student film completion grants were announced by Film Center Serbia on 10 June 2022 and the other four categories were announced on 21 June 2022.
