BRATISLAVA: The 9th edition of the Visegrad Film Forum, set to take place from 16 to 19 March 2022 at the Kino Lumière cinema as an on-site event, will host award winning industry professionals in a diverse audiovisual programme of screenings and discussions.
The Slovenian Film Centre announced the following grants in January 2022.
The 9th edition of the Visegrad Film Forum will offer a diverse audiovisual programme for cineastes as well as industry professionals. Between 16–19 March 2022, cinema the Kino Lumière will be hosting film professionals who have worked on such titles as Batman, Pink Floyd: The Wall, Casino Royale, or Coffee and Cigarettes, to talk about the essence of success in world cinematography.

Czech Republic 06-03-2022KARLOVY VARY: The organisers of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival have announced that they will not boycott all Russian films at this year’s edition (1-9 July 2022) but will not screen Russian films or accept anyone who is associated with the Russian government or supports military aggression.
Zatopek dominated the evening with 8 wins - Zatopek wins 8 prizes at the Czech Lion Awards 2021 - Best Feature Film, Best Director, Actor in a Leading Role, Best Cinematography, Best Sound, Best Film Editing, Best Makeup and Hairstyling and Best Stage Design. Czech filmmakers strongly supported Ukraine against the Russian attack and called for freedom.
